MLCS Ltd is committed to protecting the environment and to updating its practices in the light of advances in cleaning and environmental technology and new understanding in health and environmental science.

We believe that our company has the responsibility to conduct our business as pro-active and responsible stewards of the environment and to seek profits through businesses that provide quality and value to our clients in an environmentally sound manner. It is our firm conviction that our cleaning company has a responsibility to protect the ability of future generations to sustain their needs.

As a company, we strive to apply this policy of respecting and protecting the environment to all phases of our business. It is our goal to develop our cleaning services and processes so that they are compatible with the environment, beneficial in their use and manageable in their disposal.

We are fully aware of climate change and its effects on our business and the environment and strive to implement any objectives that can negate its negative effects.

In adopting this policy, the Company believes it can reduce carbon footprint and contribute to the sustainable development of Ireland’s resources and ensure that our operations meet or exceed best practice standards of environmental protection.
  • Provide safe, healthy working conditions for staff and for others.
  • Encourage use of new working systems, methods and equipment to continually improve our carbon footprint.
  • Buy energy efficient appliances and equipment.
  • Reduce the use of water where ever possible.
  • Carry out risk assessment to identify the types and scale of the environmental risks involved.

Providing for the effective use of resources by:

  • Promoting waste avoidance, minimization, re-use and recycling.
  • Promoting the efficient use of resources, energy and fuel throughout the Company’s operations.
  • Promoting the use of environmentally friendly materials in our processes.

Sharing Awareness with others:

  • Encourage our Customers to implement waste segregation initiatives to use recycled paper where ever possible.
  • Encourage our customers to recycle metals and electrical equipment.

Energy Efficiency of Our Equipment

Hoovers:

The energy labels comply with the European commission legislation for energy efficiency. Ranging from a scale of A+++ (most efficient) to D (least efficient), the label provides a good visualisation of how efficient vacuum cleaners are.

Taski Aero 8 Plus has an energy consumption of 21.1kWh/annum and the Taski Aero 15 Plus has an energy consumption of 20.6kWh/annum.

Our vacuum cleaners have an energy rating of A+, which means that they are in the group of the most efficient machines.

The rating means that Taski Aero vacuum cleaners have a maximum usage of 22kWh/annum.

Mission Statement

MLCS LTD recognize the importance of the environment and are committed to high standards of protection and compliance across all aspects of our business.

We will communicate this policy to all our employees and ensure they are given appropriate training to raise awareness of environmental issues.

MLCS LTD will review this policy on an annual basis, taking into account any changes within legislation and our organization, and notify staff of any change or update.

MLCS LTD will make this policy available when requested to interested parties, including Customers and members of the public.

MLCS LTD confirm that satisfactory environmental management and waste disposal policies and procedures are in place and in operation which take into consideration the following environmental impacts of cleaning activity:

  • Cleaning product formulation and raw material use, manufacturing and end-of-life of cleaning products and disposable cleaning accessories
  • Energy and water consumption in the use phase of cleaning products and power equipment
  • Wastewater discharge related to the use of cleaning products
  • Reduction of Waste generation (solid, liquid, including eduction of packaging waste and single use plastics)
