At MLCS Ltd, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint on the environment.
We are working with our clients and suppliers to maximise our environmental performance and protect our planet, by removing single use plastics and minimising waste we generate to also incorporating technological changes where possible.
We offer all employees with the cycle to work scheme. Encouraging cycling instead of driving which contributes to reducing the carbon footprint. By opting for pedal power instead of motorised transport they contribute to a cleaner environment with reduced emissions.
We have set our goal of achieving net zero by 2035.
New Technologies
We constantly invest in the latest technologies to reduce our energy, water, chemicals and plastics. We improve our performance for our clients and the environment.
We use electric powered equipment & machinery in our operations.
In the past year we have increased our use of I-Mops to achieve a high standard of cleaning without harsh chemicals and using a fraction of water.
Eco Friendly Cleaning
We currently work alongside our supplier in providing green eco friendly chemicals . The chemicals ensure less water and energy consumption by guaranteeing that the detergents have optimal cleaning performance even at low temperatures.
We have increased our use of concentrated chemicals and dilution control systems.
We have dramatically cut the amount of plastic and cardboard used, together with reducing the frequency of the deliveries.
We use Micro fibre flat mops and cloths ensuring reduction in waste to the land fill. These products can be re used consistently for up to 1 month plus.
Waste Management
MLCS Ltd recycle all waste and equipment. We also encourage all customers to do the same. We supply many environmentally friendly options for consumables that can be recycled and are safe for the environment. Helping to reduce the waste and increase more recycling.
